Rosie Dub grew up in Adelaide, then moved to Sydney where she completed a BA in Communications at the University of Technology, before moving to London where she worked as a reader for various publishers and literary agents. In 1997 she completed an MA in Writing from Sheffield Hallam University. Rosie currently lives in Tasmania with her British photographer husband, Tim Dub and their three children. Her novel, 'Gathering Storm' was published by Penguin, to critical acclaim. It has since been published in audio form and in the Netherlands. Her short fiction and travel writing has been published in both Australia and the UK. With the support of grants from the Australia Council and Arts Tasmania, Rosie has almost completed her new novel, 'Flight'. Aside from her writing, Rosie works as a structural editor and a teacher of creative writing and myths and symbols, She is currently doing a PhD at Swinburne University in Melbourne and working on a non fiction book, called‘Story: Mapping the Journey to Self’, which explores the mythic structure of stories, and storytelling as metaphor for the inner journeys we make.
