Dr Rosie Dub is Creative Writing Fellow at Aberystwyth University in Wales, and teaches in the online MA in Writing program at Swinburne University in Melbourne. She also teaches writing workshops and works as an editor and manuscript assessor. Rosie's first novel, 'Gathering Storm' was published by Penguin in 2008 and has since been published in audio form and in the Netherlands. Rosie's second novel, 'Flight' was published by Fourth Estate in 2012. Her short fiction and travel writing has been published in both Australia and the UK.
She grew up in Adelaide, then moved to Sydney where she completed a BA in Communications at the University of Technology, before moving to London where she worked as a reader for various publishers and literary agents. In 1997 she completed an MA in Writing from Sheffield Hallam University. Then in 2012 she completed a PhD at Swinburne University in Melbourne, in which she explored the origins and nature or story, and its purpose in human evolution.
